Well, boy or boy, this has been a journey within itself. It has been more like getting back on the horse. I've started the couch to 5K podcast, I just completed week 2 day 2, yesterday. It feels great to run again, I noticed I can run a little faster than I had been.
The speed is needed for my heart as well as for weight loss. I have to train the heart, as well as for the body to let the fat go. I've scheduled and have a plan for a 5K in April and I'm hoping to take my fitness test in July. I was hoping to take in August but they probably won't let me.
It will be hard to train next week due to travel, but I have to at least get one day of running. I can take my 'travel' workout with me for the other days. Part 2 of 45 days will be even stronger.....
