    About Me I have struggled with weight issues my whole life from age 10. Weight came off, gained, new diet, etc. I finally know that mind control leads to permanent eating habits which are healthy and learning to accept exercise as a daily must.
    Music I am a trained classical music professional and spent a career in church music and private teaching.
    Movies I like the movies of the 40's, 50's, and few made made ones since, but rarely go to the movies. We use Netflix and surf the channels on TV.
    TV My favorites are Book TV, HGTV, watch the news and Jeopardy and don't want much else, except the stuff on PBS, especially English comedies.
    Books Once find an author I like, I tend to buy all their books! Favorites are the Pilchers, Grisham, Clancey, Binchey, Karon.
    Foods Cheese, fruits
    Exercise Recumbent bike
    Water walking at the Y
    Therapy exercises
    Health Tip Eat more vegetables than fruits in volume. Start a meal with salad and//or soup.
    Likes Books, bridge, happy people,
    our church affiliations and friends. Having 6 grand children, all girls.
    Dislikes My body aches. My fat.
    Rude people, loud talkers, agressive people.
    Hobbies Bridge, books, going out to dinner, various groups of which I'm a part
    Vices My eyes are bigger than my stomach. I am at times impulsive.
    Virtues I am a loyal friend and I keep mine forever.
    Person/Body Admire I used to wish I looked like Elizabeth Taylor. I admire Emma Thompson, Meryl Streep, Many women authors.
    Heroes Eisenhower, the military in general, my sons in particular.
    My husband who is a better person than I am.

    Hi!

    This is my first time using this support direction . . .

    I'm 60+ and need encouragement . . . My problem? I love food but I also love to exercise . . . just can't get motivated to lose weight??

    I have 4 kids and 3 grandkids with two due on April 9th -- our son and daughter are both due the same day! How's that.
